Terms and conditions for Self Catering – Culloden Farmhouse

  1. Making bookings and Payments

Please check that dates are available before paying a deposit.
A deposit of £50 fee is payable on booking and will not be refundable except where booking is not accepted for whatever reason.
The balance of the fee must be paid in advance no less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday.

  1. Cancellation/Terminations

Fees will be returnable, subject to deduction of the deposit, if written cancellation is received at any time prior to six weeks before the start of the holiday.  If you cancel within six weeks from the start date of the holiday you will be responsible for the payment of the full fees. It is recommended that insurance be taken out against cancellation for the reason outside your control.

  1. Property and Safety

All property which a guest brings to Culloden Farmhouse is brought entirely at their own risk and the proprietors cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any guest
Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings but is acceptable in the gardens
     Please leave accommodation in good order as found.
                                                      

  1. Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms. However, you may drop off your bags and collect your room keys at an earlier time by prior arrangement.
     It is much appreciated if you will notify us of your estimated time of arrival.

 

  1. Late arrival procedure

Please ensure you contact us to let us know if you will be arriving late, and your new estimated time of arrival.

 

 

Bed and Breakfast Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with Culloden Farmhouse Farm Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

We do allow dogs to stay, providing that they sleep in their own beds doggies are charged one off payment of £10.

  1. Acceptance of Children

We welcome children of all ages.  We can provide by prior arrangement and free of charge, a highchair and a travel cot; however we do ask that you provide all your own bedding for the cot.

  1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit:

A £20 non-refundable deposit is payable before your reservation can be confirmed as a booking.

All bookings are confirmed by email or by letter.

 

  1. Cancellation and Insurance

By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable .
If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. 
For cancellations made up to 2 days before your booked stay you will not be liable for the total balance.  For cancellations made after this time, or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.

  1. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it.

 

  1. If you need to cancel your booking due to adverse weather conditions or exceptional family circumstances Please contact us to discuss.

The balance of your payment  is payable after breakfast on the last day of your stay.  Payment can be made by cash, or cheque

  1.  Damages and Breakages

 Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask is that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

  1. Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

 

 

If you want history there is Bodmin with its famous jail and Jamaica Inn on the scenic expanse of the moor. On the Moor fascinating villages such as St Breward and Blisland beckon the traveller.

Alternatively there is Wadebridge which, like Camelford, lies on the River Camel; and only a short journey away is the world-renowned Eden Project.
